NEW EMISSIONS REGULATION Beginning 2025
CARBs Clean Truck Check program requires an emissions compliance test for all diesels over 14,000 GVWR regardless of engine year, as well as CNG, & LNG over 14,000 GVWR (2018 and older only)
OBD reading is required for vehicles 2013 and newer. Smoke Opacity Test is required for vehicles 2012 and older.
The test must be completed by your vehicles registration due date and can be submitted up to 90 days prior.
The test will repeat every 6 months after the initial annual test.
